Bizly is a new kind of content platform for designing group experiences. Bizly has innovated an all-in-one playbook system that automates everything you have to do to run an effective gathering, replacing countless tools and hours of research. Bizly enables customers to build their own playbooks so that critical business know-how and knowledge is made actionable across the organization. Bizly is also building a marketplace of DIY content and hosted experiences from thought leaders, authors, experts, and creatives, and is partnering with some of the world’s leading platforms to make this happen. Bizly is tackling virtual meeting fatigue and digital transformation for the remote world.

We are proud to work with the world’s leading brands including iconic companies such as Apple, McDonald’s, Workday, Merck, and dozens of others. We’ve had nearly 10x ARR growth over the past year and we are now embarking on launching a freemium version of the Bizly product to the world.

As the VP of Content Partnerships at Bizly, you will be charged with cultivating a network of app partners, content partners, and creators who will contribute playbooks to the Bizly library, as well as work to build our library of original content. You’ll assist Bizly in defining and unlocking a business model around free and premium playbooks.

We’re looking for someone who is entrepreneurial and business savvy, capable of making sound partnership decisions from the ground up. The ideal candidate is also creative and has a high sense of curation — being able to define the quality threshold, tone, and style of Bizly’s content. We’re looking for someone who can lead but isn’t afraid of gettings hands-on with the content.

In this role, you will own the content business at Bizly, working cross-functionally with the marketing and product team, and you will manage a team of content contributors and writers as necessary. You’ll also work to identify areas of opportunity with our existing customers to share and amplify their user-generated playbooks.

Success will be measured at first by compelling user engagement and user stories and then later by growth, revenue, and market share.

Who We’re Looking For

We are open to a variety of backgrounds and experience levels. In general, we believe successful candidates will most likely have experience in product marketing, business development, partnerships, and creative. We also believe the ideal candidate has all of the following qualities:

  • Should have enterprise SaaS content/marketplace experience
  • Compelling and charismatic communicator, who is comfortable and thrives in a customer-facing capacity
  • Empathetic to creators; can understand the needs of content creators and identify ways to authentically add value through the Bizly platform
  • Deal-making; able to work with the business and legal to drive the right proposition to allow for scale
  • Data- and detail-oriented; able to carefully track all interactions in a CRM, and follow through on commitments
  • Understands the technology, content, and meeting ecosystem broadly; pays close attention to technology trends and their long-term implications for the industry
  • Cross-functional and collaborative; able to work closely with marketing, sales, design, and product and act as a “barrel” (more info here)
  • Empathy for both partners, creators, and our customers; keeping everyone’s “What’s In It For Me” in mind is crucial
  • Resourceful and willing to wear many hats, contributing to other strategic platform initiatives
